That’s why we created Charity Champions, a program dedicated to helping those who help others within our great community.
Celebrating a Decade of Charity Champions
Baylor has been one of our strongest supporters of the Charity Champions initiative. If you’re unfamiliar with the program, Charity Champions selects local non-profit organizations nominated by the community and provides them with an awareness marketing campaign and leadership training at no cost. The recipients are presented at half-time during a Baylor home football game in front of thousands of cheering Central Texan fans.
As we enter its 10th season, we’re proud to continue shining a spotlight on local non-profit organizations that have made significant impacts in our community. This year’s honorees include Archway of Hope, Creative Waco, Foster Village Waco, Imagination Library of Waco, JMB Fishing, and The Hanger.
We’d love our Baylor fans to come out to support our Charity Champion recipients at our halftime presentations as we root for those who greatly enrich our community!
Expanding Our Support as a Team Player
- Investing in Baylor’s Champions — We’re thrilled to expand our support to Baylor’s nationally prominent Men’s Golf program and the Acrobatics & Tumbling program, which recently secured its ninth consecutive national championship.
- Game Sponsorships — We’ll be the proud sponsor of two key football games this season — the season opener against Tarleton on Saturday, August 31, and the Homecoming game versus Oklahoma State on Saturday, October 26.
- Tailgating Central — The McLane Stadium parking lot, the hub of pre-game excitement, will continue to be sponsored by TFNB Your Bank for Life.
