Football season is in full swing, and Texans everywhere are cheering on their favorite teams. Here at TFNB Your Bank for Life, this season holds extra special meaning. We’re proud to announce a significant milestone — the 10th season of our Charity Champions program! For a full decade, we’ve been spotlighting the unsung heroes of Central Texas—non-profit organizations that work tirelessly to enhance our community’s quality of life.
“10 seasons. 63 Champions. Countless lives transformed. As we kick off this landmark 10th season of Charity Champions, we’re celebrating more than just numbers — we’re honoring a decade of community impact. This program has become the heartbeat of TFNB’s commitment to Central Texas, and we’re immensely proud of the difference it has made since its inception in 2015.”
David Littlewood, Chairman/CEO, TFNB Your Bank for Life
Since 2015, we’ve had the honor of recognizing and supporting 63 remarkable organizations, each playing a vital role in addressing diverse needs within our community. From education and healthcare to arts and social services, our Charity Champions have been at the forefront of positive change in Central Texas.
This 10th season isn’t just an anniversary — it’s a testament to championing local causes, fostering community spirit, and proving that when we come together, there’s no limit to what we can achieve in Central Texas.
Lifting Up Local Heroes: How Charity Champions Powers Nonprofits in Central Texas
As a community-focused bank, TFNB Your Bank for Life has always believed in giving back. Our Charity Champions program was born out of this commitment. This initiative recognizes nonprofit organizations chosen by TFNB employees after being nominated by the community. Each selected organization receives an awareness marketing campaign and leadership training at no cost.
The awareness campaign kicks off with a radio interview by the voice of the Baylor Bears, John Morris, and an on-field presentation at McLane Stadium during a Baylor football game, reaching thousands of Central Texans. The recognition continues at Baylor basketball games and includes a feature on the Charity Champions Podcast.
After football season, the show goes on. Each Charity Champion receives world-class leadership development training, helping them grow their impact and sustainability. This leadership training takes place in the first and second quarters of the year, giving the nonprofits tools to enhance their operations and community service to be successful all year long.
Now, let’s meet the organizations that will be carrying the Charity Champions torch in this landmark 10th season:
